5 Powerful Changes You Will Experience When You Pray Consistently

You have always known that you need to pray more. On several occasions, you have made commitments toward taking your prayer life seriously, but in the end, the commitment crumbles, and you find yourself back at square one. This attitude has kept you locked in chains that a consistent life of prayer could have long broken.

Looking at the driving force behind your desire to pray more, there is this very adversity affecting your life negatively. This challenge steals your joy, your peace, and your happiness.

I want to let you know that the more time you waste in taking your prayer life seriously, the more the problem aggravate. The Devil does not retract his aggression when left unconfronted, instead, he intensifies it. James 4:7 says, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

You must resist, reject and confront that circumstance in prayer today for you to win and claim your victory. Until you emerge victorious, you cannot accomplish what God has destined for you on earth.

Here are five changes your life will drastically experience if you start taking your prayer life seriously from today:

1. Freedom from Demonic Oppression

In Matthew 6:13, Jesus taught us to pray,

"deliver us from evil."

Prayer is the only way to receive God's intervention in overcoming evil. It is your supreme weapon against the devil.

By praying consistently, you are laying a siege on the devil's strongholds, thwarting his attacks, and foiling his schemes. All demonic strongholds crumble and you become a free person.

Demonic oppression is very wicked. It is an enemy of your destiny and you cannot afford to be running your daily affairs while under its shackles. Its goal is to frustrate you, emasculate you, render you hopeless, fruitless, and worthless.

The only way to fight it and win is to soak yourself in prayer from this day onwards.

2. You Become Immune to Demonic            Attacks

Even after you have been liberated from demonic chains, you still need to be consistent in your prayers as it keeps you immune from reinforced attacks. Unfortunately, most people, once they receive their deliverance from God, they forget about prayer. This is very dangerous as it leaves space for the demons to regroup and come back.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 says,

"Pray without ceasing."

When you pray without ceasing, you become immune from any future attacks. You block all loopholes which the devil can take advantage of.

3. Your Faith Grows and Anxiety                   Shrinks

The major cause of anxiety is hopelessness. When a person feels like he has been overwhelmed by his situation, that there's no future for him, no help and no solution for his problems, this results in anxiety.

Clinging to prayer helps you anchor your hope on God. When you pray always, you are close to God, and you develop the faith that God is in control, that God is your helper, and that everything will fall into place. This grows your faith and shrinks anxiety.

Philippians 4:6 says,

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

When you devote enough time for prayer, nothing worries you because you know that God is in charge and will not fail you.

4. You Experience a Deeper Joy

Think of how you feel when you are not meeting up with your prayer schedule. You feel incomplete, unfulfilled, and weak in the spirit. You feel like your protection is not guaranteed and things could go wrong at any time.

Praying consistently wipes out those negative feelings. You develop a sense of certainty and satisfaction. You feel happy and fulfilled within you because you are living in alignment with God’s will.

5. You Live at the Center of God's Will

When you are at the center of God's will, you cannot make a mistake. When you pray consistently, you hear from God often, and align your actions according to His instructions.

A person who runs his daily affairs without hearing from God is like a pilot who flies into the air daily without regard to weather report. That pilot and everybody in the aircraft are at risk because what is ahead is uncertain.

Praying consistently gives you the room to hear from God, recieve His warnings and instructions. You know when to move, when to tarry, and when to act. This prevents you from making a wrong move that could harm you.

The Lord is your succour. He is ready to help you, but you have to ask for His help in prayer. It's not that God cannot answer when you pray occasionally. God is not just interested in answering your prayers; He is also interested in building you.

God wants you to develop a prayer habit so that your faith will be strengthened. He is waiting for you. Get serious with Him from today henceforth, and you will see the full manifestation of His power in your life.
